文化資本透過學校社會資本對臺東縣國二學生學業成績之影響

本研究旨在探討文化資本和學校社會資本對學業成績的影響。本研究以「臺東縣教育長期資料庫」於2005年進行調查之國二學生與家長問卷資料,對此影響做路徑分析。主要發現如下:一、精緻文化資本愈高,良好師生關係、良好同儕關係與不良同儕關係愈多;良好師生關係愈多,學業成績愈高。二、不利文化風格包括不利嗜好與不利休閒,不利嗜好愈多,良好師生關係愈少;不良師生關係與不良同儕關係愈多,學業成績愈低;不利休閒愈多;而良好師生關係愈少、不良師生關係與良好同儕關係愈多;而良好師生關係愈少、不良師生關係愈多,學業成績愈低。
This study aims to explore how cultural capital influences school social capital, and how both affects academic performance of students. This research employed path analysis to examine such influences through questionnaire data from the Taitung Educational Panel Survey conducted in 2005 on eighth graders and their parents. The results obtained are as follows. (1) The more abundant the refined cultural capital becomes, the more positive the teacher-student relationship and the more positive as well as negative peer relationships will be. (2) The more positive the teacher-student relationships become, the better the academic performance of the students. (3) Students who engage in more disadvantageous hobbies will have more negative teacher-student relationships as well as more negative peer relationships, and these negative relationships lead to the poorer academic performance of these students. (4) Students who engage in more disadvantageous leisure activities had less positive teacher-student relationships, higher instances of negative teacher-student relationships, and more positive peer relationships, and this led to poorer academic performance for these students.
